The Flagship of Three Point Aviation’s fleet is our 1961 Piper 160. N277CP began life at the Piper Aircraft facility in Vero Beach, Florida.
Carrie the Cherokee, as we like to call her, was purchased by a private owner in California who flew it until the late 1980s. In 1988, the plane was flown to Falcon Field in Mesa, Arizona and removed from service, pending a full overhaul. N277CP remained in Arizona until it was transported to Florida in 2009. In March of 2016, the full restoration and retrofit of the pane was completed and it once again took to the skies. It now flies regularly from its home in Central Florida.
